OC Pizza Deals

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

This policy explains what information OC Pizza Deals collects when you use the Site, and how it's used. OC Pizza Deals does not require an account, and does not ask you to enter any personal information to browse restaurants or deals.

Information we collect

There are no user accounts, sign-up forms, or logins on the Site, so we don't collect your name, email address, or similar information through normal browsing.

When you click certain buttons — “View Deal,” “Call,” “Get Directions,” or “Website” on a restaurant's page — we log that click along with a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser for the length of your visit (in sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab). This tells us which listings and deals people are interested in. It is not tied to your name, email, IP address, or any other personally identifying information, and we don't use it to track you across other websites.

How we use this information

We use click data in aggregate — for example, to see how many people clicked a deal this week — to understand what's popular and to share that with restaurant owners about interest in their own listing. We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-party services

The Site is hosted on Vercel and stores its data with Supabase; both process data on our behalf as part of running the Site. Deals and menu links may take you to a restaurant's own website or to a third-party deal platform (such as Clipp) — once you leave OC Pizza Deals, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Data retention and security

Click data is retained as long as it's useful for the purposes above and is stored with reasonable security measures. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can clear or block your browser's local/session storage at any time using your browser's own settings, which removes the identifier described above.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no accepted industry standard for how a site should respond to it, so the Site does not currently change its behavior when it detects that signal.

California privacy rights

OC Pizza Deals does not sell or share personal information, and depending on our size and operations, some obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may not yet apply to us. Regardless, if you are a California resident and have questions about information we may have about you, you can reach us using the contact information below.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
